Membership Requirments
Membership requirements in the 101st Airborne Division Vietnam Veterans Organization is limited to those Veterans who actually served in the Republic of Vietnam with units of the 101st Airborne Division, 101st Air Cavalry Division or the 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile) or attached units. For those seeking regular membership please attach documentation verifying your tour with the 101st Airborne Division, 101st Air Cavalry Division or the 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile) or attached units (DD 214, orders, manifest, letters from home, etc). Anyone who served honorably with the 101st Airborne Division in the Republic of Vietnam or was attached by orders, is eligible for membership. We welcome any and all who wish to seek membership.
We have different type of memberships;
REGULAR MEMBER is any person who honorably served with the Division in the Republic of Vietnam is qualified for regular membership in the “ORGANIZATION”. This includes all personnel that were assigned or attached, by orders, to the 101st ABN DIV. You do not have to be airborne qualified. Only current Regular Members of the “ORGANIZATION” are entitled to vote and to be elected to an office of the “ORGANIZATION”.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER is any person, who is interested in perpetuating the “SCREAMING EAGLE” spirit, may become an associate member of the “ORGANIZATION”. Associate Members of the “ORGANIZATION” are not allowed to vote and may not serve as elected officers (to include Chapter Delegate) of the “ORGANIZATION”, but may be appointed to positions of responsibility and are allowed to serve in that capacity.
FRIEND OF EAGLES/BENEFACTORS: Do not meet the requirements for membership, but shall be authorized to receive the newsletter and attend the annual reunion with current subscription fees.
MEMBERSHIP BREAKDOWN:
A. Regular Membership can be no less than 75% of the membership.
B. Associate & Honorary Members (spouses, widows, widowers, ancestors or lineal descendants of veterans) can be no more that 22.5% of the membership.

As of August 2024, membership fees are as follows:
We will longer have yearly dues. All members will be life members. They will also become life members of the 101st Airborne Division Association. Since most associate members of our organization do not qualify for membership in the Association, they will only be life members of our organization. They will still be able to attend the reunions.
New or delinquent members who are not life members of the Association, will pay $101.00 (this is because we will pay for them to become life members of the Association). Members and delinquent members which still have years remaining will be pro-rated. Associate members dues are $50.00.
